A Social Entrepreneur and a pioneer in the field of Solar Energy, Mr. Gadhia is very active in renewable energy field from last 3 decades and has successfully commercialized the renewable energy based projects. He is an authorised Energy Auditor and has earned international recognition with his accomplishments. Some of his accomplishments are :

• Development of the first solar steam cooking system in India.
• Installed the worlds’ largest steam cooking system, producing upto 50,000 meals per day at Shirdi Temple. The earlier Worlds largest Steam cooking systems at Tirumala Tirupati temple and at Brahma Kumari’s were also installed by his company Gadhia Solar. Since April 2011 he is out of Gadhia Solar as he sold his share and company and moved to Muni Seva Ashram.
• Installed the highest altitude steam cooking system in Ladakh, producing 500 meals per day for the Indian Army in -40°C temperature conditions
• Installed the India’s first & largest solar powered air-conditioning system (100 ton refrigeration system) for the Kailash Cancer Hospital (MSA), in Goraj India using Scheffler Concentrators.
• Development of a 430m3 biogas generation, treatment and bottling facility used for community cooking at the Muni Seva Ashram through the company Excellent Renewable Pvt. Ltd. the company he is Chairman of.
• Recognised by the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation for outstanding work in the areas of renewable energy & social engineering to make the solar cookers affordable to the rural needy through the Smoke-free village projects in A.P.

At present he mentors and supports many start-ups like Excellent Renewable Pvt Ltd > a Biogas company in Valsad Gujarat and GreenForce Enviro Pvt. Ltd a company in Mumbai that offers Green Solutions & and gives honorary service as a Trustee at Muni Seva Ashram at Goraj. He is also Chairman of Gehrlicher Solar India Pvt. Ltd., a company offering EPC services in PV Sector. Mr. Deepak Gadhia is a guiding force behind company’s work in the field of Clean & Renewable Energy.

Urvish Dave is working in the Renewable Energy Arena as a Project Consultant with an expertise and keen focus in Solar Energy Sector viz. Rural Electrification, Grid connected SPP, Off-Grid Solar Projects, Captive power plants, Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) Mechanism, & CDM projects in India along with market intelligence pertaining to renewable energy sector.

He holds the distinction of executing numerous Solar projects during the career path including EPC projects for Rural Electrification, Solar Grid Connected Projects, Off-Grid Projects etc. He is a freelance writer and publishes his article regularly on Solar Projects in India via blog post.

Urvish is responsible for Techno-Commercial strategic planning, overall development & providing suitable technology deployment / PMC for company’s projects in Solar Arena.

Ramakant Pal | Chief Advisor

Ramakant Pal has extensive experience in the solar industry as a Project Head in some of the world’s renowned Solar EPC Companies. He has vast experience in Strategy formulation, procurement & project planning, turnkey project execution, team building & partnerships with Foreign Collaborators, coordinating with Renewable Energy Departments viz. MNRE , IREDA . Solar Energy Centre, State Nodal Agencies / International Agencies.

Some of his achievements are :

• Project Management & Construction of India’s first Thin film solar power plant at Andhra Pradesh.
• Constructed India’s first MW project with T0 tracker in Maharashtra.

With his unmatched knowledge and skill set, he is looking after the entire Project Management and Execution, Vendor Development & Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) activities.
